9:14PM - I actually lost!!!
Today was my WW meeting and I actually lost a pound! I was very surprised...I have been sick with a sinus infection and a stomach virus...I even missed last week's meeting which I never do. Every other time I've joined WW, after I get sick (which is quite often) I usually gain weight back and then quit. Maybe this is finally a turning point for me! Even though I wasn't journalling like I was supposed to and probably eating a few things that weren't such a good idea I still somehow managed to stay pretty much on program.
MY goals for the week:
hit the 10 pound mark by next week
journal everyday (I am really good at this when I am in a routine)
do my walking tape at least three times

Even though we are getting a little low on food supplies (that arent big family meals that is, we are well stocked there) I am still keeping track of my points.
I have a little journal (one of the many I collect) which I write down little notes about how many points a food is, and also what points ive consumed.
Some foods I just write down to remind myself i really don't need them
ex. Giant glazed honey bun from 711 (courtesy of kevin) 12 points. Most of my main meals equal to that.
ALso write down foods which i've tried which I really like. Such as a generic brand of real fruit popsciles. They are 0 points, but oh so flavorful.
Overall I think I'll be able to keep on track this time. my little 1 month hiatus is over (for a week now) and this progress is really motivating me.

4:00PM - Does anyone know
Does anyone know how many points McDonald's new Snack Wrap has? I went with a friend and well we were eating in the vehicle and I wanted to get a salad but didn't want to eat salad in her car so I got this Snack Wrap McD's has now. It is a tortilla w/lettuce, a crispy chicken piece some shredded cheese and some ranch dressing. Not real big more taco size than burrito size tortilla.
and I also ordered the walnut fruit salad only it didn't have the walnut it had apples and grapes. I ate maybe 4 grapes and about the size of an apple of apple slices. I did dip a couple. What do you guys think I should give my lunch as points????
Did great yesterday... but I am soooo hungrey still... think i am going to have cucumber and a spritz of italian dressing.
Help everyone!!!!! I need you!!!

I am back...to try again. I have almost gained all my weight back from 2yrs ago...I think. By one pound. So much has gone on and I really put it back on in the past 4 mos. So I am trying to back on the wagon...Went to the doctor and he is behind me on this. He is talking Bariatric...but I don't think I want to go so drastic. I just figure If I can't take the weight off and keep under control myself then how am I to do that with surgery...I would be afraid of making myself explode. Not a way to live for me.
Anyways I am starting again today...
one question... anyone know how many points is 1/2 banana and 1/4c. of 2% milk????

Not sure about the points of this one but i know it has to be weight watchers friendly-- I have been making this for lunch and dinner for the last three days-- addictive!
Shrimp cole slaw pita
Cole slaw mix (i make my own by shredding cabbage, carrots, peppers, celery in a food processor)
1 teaspoon or so chopped onion
10 medium cooked shrimp, chopped
1 tablespoon of hidden valley ranch light dressing
1 tablespoon of honey mustard
garlic powder to taste
salt/pepper to taste
basically mix all ingredients together and serve them in a lo-cal pita- I found a pita brand that has only 60 calories per pita and is low carb, high fiber, high protein and doesnt taste like poop.
As far as ratios go, i usually have like1.5-2 cups of slaw mix with the rest of it-- really filling-- really crunchy and good...YUM

Hi all! Losing the weight is getting easier, as long as I can stay away from pizza and oreo cookies, but I still need more support.
I think I posted the link to my site here before, but it wasn't quite ready for the public eye at that point. I encourage all of you to pay us a visit again and check everything out.

10:58AM - Etools number emergency
I hope someone can help me. I am an etools member.. Flipped out and decided to cancel THEN signed back up again thinkng it would work and it didn't. Worse case scenario I can go to a meeting tonight and get another number BUT I would be more than grateful if someone had a number PLEASE! I am in panic mode I love to use the online tools.

8:59PM - Ugh
For those WW types out there, when you're feeling sick and not hungry at all, any suggestions on keeping your points intake up where it should be? I'm supposed to be doing 28pts a day, and I've managed 21, and I'm about to go to bed. I cant face the idea of enough food to bring it up to where it should be. Suggestions?
it wont do me any good today, but if I still feel like hell tomorrow, I could use it.

what the points would be for a slice of no-sugar added or sugar free banana creme pie???
I like ot get a slice at Baker's Square and they won't give me nutrtional info on any of their menu items. I also can't find a sugar-free banana creme pie in the gropcery store.
It doesn't have to be exact but I figured if anyone else eats a sugar-free banana creme pie and knows the points I'll just use that bc right now I don't even have a ballpark.

9:33AM - WW and working out.
So yesterday I thought I would be a super champ and bike with a co-worker for 6 miles and hike another couple miles.
Yeah, I died after the 6 miles. Then I went home and smoke a cigarette. Then I coughed all night because of the cigarette. I am such a retard.
Anyways, I ended up being able to eat 2 activity points. But get this - I biked at less than 10 mph and according to fitday.com, that is "a slow pace, like going to work, biking for fun". What!? I could not even talk. Fitday said I burned 150 cals. I am sorry, if I cannot talk for over a half hour, I burned more than that. I realized how out of shape I am. It's crazy. And the smoking is even crazier.
I was 162 this morning! God, I keep thinking back - I was 180 on Jan 1st! Jesus, 19 pounds. I feel a little better, but otherwise I don't notice the difference except I fit in a smallr pair of jeans. (16's were getting tight and that sucks.)
Now, I have to stick to my points this week. Tonight I am walking to Curves, going to try and do the whole 1/2 hour and walking back. That calculates to an extra 3 activity points. Then I want to go to Sam's and walk with Fronk and Brian tonight for at least another 1/2 hour. That's another point.
Jamie and I figured out that they only let you eat 1/2 of the points back that you burned. Pretty nifty, so I am eating those fuckers.
It's sad that the only thing that motivates me to work out somewhat is being able to stuff my face more. Jesus!

8:51AM - Oh What a Feeling
A while ago, before I started dieting, I found I had to replace one of my sets of jeans. Now, I hate clothes shopping. Passionately. So, I have a habit of finding a style/brand/what have you that I like, and sticking to it. Off I toddle to the store, and buy myself my new jeans, in the same size, style, make etc as my old jeans.
Three days later, I go to put them on and get a very rude/depressing shock. They wont do up. Not difficult to do up... flat out WONT. My current ones and stretched with me, but a true copy of that size... didnt.
I've discovered the salve to that however. Today, I put the damned things on. They did up. Not without a bit of a fight, but they did up. Progress marked! It will be an even sweeter feeling when I need to get a belt for them, and finally when I have to completely downsize to a new pair.

Ok, I'm running into a problem. I want to make myself hamburgers tonight, as I cant look another chicken breast in the face right now without running around in circles, clucking and trying to grow feathers.
I've got the extra lean ground beef, but I cant find uncooked weights for what i want. The finished product should be 3oz... anyone have a rough idea of how big I should make the patties before hand? 4oz? More? less?
Not only learning to loose weight... its forcing me to learn how to cook as well. *grumbles*
9:28AM - flex plan question
I'm on the flex plan and didn't use 2 of my points yesterday. Am I correct in thinking that I can use those two points in addition to my standard daily 22?
